After a degree in Institut Européen des Affaires business school, in law at Université de Paris X as well as a 7-year professional advertising experiment, Thierry Mauricet cofounded Première Urgence organization in June 1992 in order to assist the suffering people besieged in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). From 1994 to 2011, he was Première Urgence Executive Director.
Today, he is Première Urgence – Aide Médicale Internationale Executive Director. This organization merged two French NGOs in April 2011.
Première Urgence Internationale aims at providing a global support in health, food security, reconstruction and economic recovery sectors, in favor of populations suffering from humanitarian crises. It engages in some 20 countries helping 3 million people.
